Let them eat cake gown 🎂🎀🦢

This gown was inspired by a costume designed by Milena Canonero for Sofia Coppola’s 2006 film Marie Antoinette . A mirror to the young queen’s lavish lifestyle in Versailles.  Worn by Kirsten Dunst in the famous Let them eat cake scene and at her child’s bedside. (Pls refer to last 2 images)

Made of cream taffeta in an 18th-century style, with a hot-pink tulle petticoat peeks out from underneath. Took a “more is more” approach, this gown was embellished with ruffles galore, tracing the heart shaped contours of the bodice, the 3/4 sleeves adorned with fine lace trims, the peeks out petticoat composed of 4 layers of different pink tulles, helping to give the dress its shape and adding a whimsical pop of color. The gown accommodates the raise up function to swag the over skirt. It was characterized by a flowing fit, with the back lacing while it can be held up with the hidden tie , there are few ways to wear it’ depend on how you style it.

this gown includes : overdress, underskirt, pink tulle petticoat, brooch, choker

composition: taffeta (overdress and skirt), tulle lace with cotton embroidery, cotton (lining), cotton and polyester pink tulles (petticoat)

pls allow 3 weeks to send out this gown after placing an order

pls leave your bust, waist, bicep, elbow, height , across shoulder, preferred length from shoulder to hem (front overdress), don’t forget to include your heels height on the dress length, if you want to wear panniers pls usually reserve extra around 2-3” length
